Something might feel familliar if you watched some youtube animations back in the early 2010s, made your guess? yes that's right! an album from Emezie the creator of Porkchop and flatscreen!
I reccomend listening to the album after watching a handful of episodes atleast! I did after catching up on all(?) the current episodes at the time and I feel like I was able to enjoy the songs more when i recognized them from the show

My TMI: Revisiting Porkchop and Flatscreen
Youtubes best animated series, I think it was 2025 I ended up binging the show, so good and still holds up to today, I check out one of his streams where he went over his process and was answering questions, bruh he animated on paper and an ancient version of After effects AND made the music for his show ToT what is our excuse?! I just felt really inspired after, these were characters he had since he was a kid that he carried with him and brought to life for millions to see. And his love for fighting games and wrestling is evident in his work...I think that's so cool oh and anime of course lol "心臓心, 美しい所~♪" oh and not to mention the diversity of the cast was a pleasant surprise! as well as the strong themes of female empowerment not just in the show but in the music...I started to wonder if the creator of the show was a woman but it was guy! I'm surprised!
